Activities In Bristol That Are Dog-Friendly: Kings Westons House
From the prairies of Alberta to the city of Bristol, Charlie and Lola are always with us. So with that, we are always looking for activities in Bristol that we can do with them.
Dog walkers love Kings Weston House because it has a fantastic cafe and a 300-acre historic setting with groomed lawns, fields, woodland, old buildings, and panoramic views. You will always see something fresh because the entire place has recently undergone renovations (which are still ongoing).
One of our favorite parts of visiting this location for our dog walks is that they have the loveliest cafe that you can make a pit stop off on your walk.
Visitors can park for free in the Kings Weston House's sizable on-site parking lot. A sizable manor house, built by Sir John Vanbrugh between 1712 and 1720, is situated on the property.
We have had the pleasure of seeing the inside of this home many times, and it has just gone under a refurbishment. You must check it out if you ever have the chance.
As previously mentioned, there is an onsite cafe, and dogs are warmly welcomed in the cafe it houses. The cafe offers beautiful outdoor seating with sweeping views of the River Severn and Portishead. Large grassy areas surround the property, which are ideal for a dog's runabout. Alternately, you and your dog can stroll along the grounds' circumferential trail, which will lead you past aging garden structures and into well-maintained trees.
