As this is looking like the last time that we will get out, for the time being, Paul and I decided to take a little staycation in Bath at Harington’s Hotel. The best part is, the hotel is dog friendly, so the pooches were allowed to come along and stay with us.

You can see the Jane Austen tours float past our very windows while the Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Bath University are all but moments away. The heart of Bath really is right on Harington’s doorstep.

Each of Harington’s 13 bedrooms are special and unique - variety is the spice of life after all! That said, each room has everything you need to feel right at home. Whatever room you choose, you can rest assured that a restful slumber is on the cards too. Harington's beds are decked out in the finest Egyptian cotton with individually-sprung high quality mattresses (all in the name of a good night's sleep).

Harington’s are very happy to accommodate small well-behaved dogs in any room type, and if you're bringing a larger breed, do let them know so they can recommend a larger room.

They also have selected rooms that are perfect for pooches and humans alike. So do let them know when booking if you are bringing your pet so that they can allocate you the most appropriate room. Your lovely pooch can enjoy a cosy dog bed and water bowls placed in your room, and even a freshly cooked sausage for breakfast!
